Gilt with red and blue enamelled metal shield bearing the Danish coat-of-arms, held in place via four intact prongs, crown and wings in gold-coloured bullion wire, in various textures, deep red felt in the void of the crown, touches of red, green and blue embroidery in the base of the crown, interlaced with black threading giving definition to the wings and the base of the crown, on a steel blue wool base, steel blue paper backer, 50 mm x 109 mm, wear evident on the wool upper under the left wing, near extremely fine.
