This is an extremely rare, and unique SS document measuring 348x290mm. It remains in delicate condition with folding creases and several rips and tears, however not affecting the legibility. The document is dated to Stettin on March 1934 – however entries have been made as late as 1936 – and issued to then-SS Standartenführer Günther Pancke. He signed it in black ink. With photograph, the document explains the dates of his promotions, and gives information about him and his military career between 1931 and 1936.

Footnote:Günther Pancke (1899–1973) was an SS Obergruppenführer (General equivalent) and Higher SS and Police Leader of Denmark between 1943 and 1945. He joined the NSDAP in 1930 and the SS in 1931, and participated in the SS march of Brunswick in 1931 and the Nuremberg Rally in 1933. During his career Pancke was awarded, among other distinctions, the Sword of Honour of the Reichsführer-SS, and the Golden NSDAP Party Badge in 1943.
