A Scarce Military Order of William; 3rd Class Knight c.1870

The highest award for bravery in the Netherlands: (Officer) Silver with white and green enamels, Gold crown and inscriptions on the obverse designating it as 3rd Class Knight (Officer), Gold and navy blue enamelled reverse centrepiece, 36.8 mm x 56.5 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon, only very minor crazing evident in the white enamels on the arms, better than very fine.
