Order of Glory, 3rd Class, Type II (silver with red enamels, number engraved "779223" on the reverse, 44 mm x 46 mm); Medal for Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 (brass, 32.2 mm); Medal for Bravery, Type II (silver with red enamels, number stamped "464151" on the reverse, 37 mm); and Medal for Combat Service, Type II (silver with red enamels, number stamped "485130" on the reverse, 32.2 mm). Lightly soiled original ribbons, each is mounted to a five-sided brass suspension and conjoined, with swing bar pinback, red enamel loss on the lettering on the latter two medals, contact marks, better than very fine. Accompanied by photocopies of three pages of his service records.

 
Footnote: Degtyarev Gavril II'ich was born in 1893. He was a rifleman serving with the 144th Brigade of the 28th Guard Division when he was awarded the Bravery Medal. The citation for the medal indicates it was for actions taken on September 29, 1943, near Baranovo Hill, Belarus. He began shooting at Nazi forces, personally killing five soldiers.
