Type II: Silver with red enamels, number engraved "383517" on the reverse, 44.2 mm x 45.7 mm, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided brass suspension with pinback, intact enamels, contact marks and surface wear, very fine. Accompanied by photocopies of two pages of his service records.

 
Footnote: Fyodor Alekseevich Chernenko was born in 1915. He served as a Major-Sergeant in the Red Army from May 1941 to November 1945, as a Commander of the Mortar Squad of the 4th Mechanized Brigade, 5th Guard Tank Army. Chernenko was awarded the Order of Glory (383517) in March 1945, for actions in Eastern Prussia. He was also a recipient of the Bravery Medal (248496), which he was awarded in April 1943.
