A fine quality manufacture German Social Welfare Organization Merit Cross; 2nd Class; in gilded bronze and white and black enamels; vaulted; vertical slender banjo style pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; unmarked; measuring 51.01 mm x 51.13 mm; weighing 32.0 grams; with two very slight chips to the white enamels - one on the left arm, and one on the bottom arm of the cross; overall very fine condition.
