A scarce example by this maker; a silver grade Infantry Assault Badge “Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen”; in silvered zink; with a vertical needle style pinback, with a sheet metal hinge and a rounded wire catch; maker marked with the stylized logo for “Fritz Zimmermann & Söhne, Zimmermann” manufacture; measuring 62.83 mm x 49.08 mm; with approximately 50% of the original silvering remaining; very fine condition.
