Italy, Fascist State. A Motorized Unit Campaign Medal for Albania 1940-1941

Bronze with blue and black enamels, obverse illustrating a motorized unit insignia above the inscription "10° Autoraggruppamenti di Manovra", a ribbon banner below inscribed "FERVENT ROTAE - FERVENT ANIMI", dated "1940" and "1941" on either side of the fasces frame respectively, engraver marked "PAGNONI" and maker marked "S.J." (S. Johnson), reverse illustrating a map of the Mediterranean region, 35.5 mm, original ribbon, intact enamels, edge nicks, near extremely fine.
