Germany, NSKK. A Copy of “Das Kraftfahrzeug”; Motor Education Manual for Young Men

A book, 96 pages, measuring 107x151mm, very fine condition with some damage to the spine. The swastika on the cover has been removed in a denazification attempt. The book is called “Das Kraftfahrzeug” (The Motor Vehicle), with the subtitle: Manual for the education of the Motor HJ and young men of the Reich Motorsports Schools in the NSKK. It is the second unchanged edition from 1940. The intention of the book is to educate young men not about theoretical driving, but about basic mechanical knowledge. It contains 13 coloured illustrations and is written in Fraktur letters, also known as Gothic letters.
