An Iron Cross 1914 First Class by the German Royal Mint in Berlin

An “Eisernes Kreuz 1914 1. Klasse”; silver frame with a blackened magnetic core; semi-round vertical pin with a barrel hinge and a round wire loop; maker marked “KO” for “Könighliches Münzamt Orden, Berlin” on the reverse underneath the catch; measuring 43.17 mm x 43.13 mm; weighing 16.4 grams; fine condition with scattered chips to the black paint, and with white oxidation forming on the left side of the upper arm.
