This is an ink stamp constructed of a wooden handle and a non-magnetic negative image of the Geheimes Staatspolizeiamt. The stamp reads “Geheimes Staatspolizeiamt” and depicts an an eagle, clutching a sword in one claw, and lightning bolts in the other, with a banner above, reading “Gott Mitt Uns” (God with us); Well aged original hande and original die; unmarked; very fine condition.
