A textbook “Kriegsabzeichen für Marineartillerie”; in silvered and gilded zink, with the majority of the original silvering still present but most of the gilding worn off with only traces remaining; vertical needle style pinback with a sheet metal hinge and a round wire loop; maker marked with the stylized logo of “Hermann Aurich, Dresden” on the reverse; measuring 54.42 mm x 41.61 mm; weighing 21.7 grams; very fine condition.
