A fine textbook example of a post-war West German Bundeswehr EM/NCO’s belt and belt buckle; the buckle constructed of fine quality stamped nickel-silver; depicting a detailed pebbled design with “Einigkeit/Recht/Freiheit” (Unity, Equality, Freedom) in upper case lettering formed into a circle, with a post-war German eagle placed in the centre; attached to a butterscotch brown leather tab; unmarked; measuring 69 mm x 54 mm. Accompanied by a leather belt, constructed of a black upper and a butterscotch underside. The belt features a nickel silver catch, secured in place using two rivets (one previously replaced), with a leather tab with seven sets of vertically oriented double holes for adjustment. The belt is marked in pen “Ps Eckstein, Bollig, 3.114” and marked “60”; measuring 90 cm x 4.8 cm; better than very fine condition.
