A cased Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918/Das Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918, also often reffered to as the Hindenburg Cross, accompanied by a red presentation case, an advertisement leaflet, as well as an award document. The cross is constructed of bronzed metal (magnetic); on loop for suspension; with its mint period-original ribbon; maker marked “O.2” for “Extrablatt Orden-Herstellergemeinschaft, Pforzheim); measuring 38.02 mm x 38.28 mm; weighing 14.3 grams. With a presentation case; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a textured red faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the interior liner embossed with “Treue um Treue” and the facsimile of Hindenburg; with a recessed medal bed and a slot for ribbon placement; functional spring catch with push button release; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 93 mm x 64 mm; mint condition. With an award document of the Hindenburg Cross in the name of the Führer and the Reichs Chancellor in remembrance of the World War 1914/1918, to Rohrleger (Plumber) Walter Prestin of Lübeck, on February 4th, 1935. It is numbered Nr. 4853/35, with a seal of the City, as well as the signature of the Police Office Magistrate; measuring 210 mm x 147 mm; extremely fine condition. Also with an advertising leaflet for the presentation case for the Hindenburg Cross - it was possible to purchase it for 0.75 Reichsmark at jewelers certified by the Reichszeugmeisterei of the NSDAP; measuring 219 mm x 140 mm; extremely fine condition.
