An excellent, unworn and relatively untouched clasp to the Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; Type II; in silvered tombac; all four prongs intact on the reverse; unmarked; measuring 31.41 mm x 31.85 mm; weighing 8.2 grams; extremely fine condition. Accompanied by its original packet of issue; constructed of blue paper, with “Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939” printed in black gothic lettering on the obverse and “Frank & Reif Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen” on the reverse; measuring 96 mm x 64 mm; overall extremely fine condition.
