Three Second War German Wound Badges

A complete grouping of three second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen” - black, silver, and gold grade. The black grade wound badge; in blackened bronze; hollow stamped version; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; measuring 44.27 mm x 36.90 mm; weighing 13.1 grams; very fine condition with some light signs of wear. The silver grade wound badge; in silvered solid bronze; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a slightly flat wire catch; measuring 44.03 mm x 36.40 mm; weighing 27.0 grams; better than fine condition, but with the majority of the original silvering worn off. The golder grade wound badge; in gilded solid bronze; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; measuring 43.79 mm x 36.29 mm; weighing 34.4 grams; in better than fine condition, but with most of the original gilding worn off.
