A certificate for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class, measuring 208x298mm, extremely fine condition with a folding crease on the lower left side, and minor scuffing and discolouration. The document is issued to Cossack Maksim Petrenko of the East Training Cossack Squadron “Kranz”. It is dated to Berlin on January 30, 1944, and carries a facsimile of AH and of Chief of the Presidential Chancellery of the Führer and the Chancellor, Otto Meissner.
