Measuring 378 mm in length with the scabbard on, magnetic, exhibiting beautiful crossgraining, with the usual in and out runner marks, having sharp edges and an extremely sharp tip. The blade is engraved "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany) on the obverse, while the blade's reverse ricasso is maker marked C.G. Haenel AG, Suhl Waffen-u.Fahrrad-Fabrik with the company's arrow insignia, the blade exhibiting edge nicks, measuring 220 mm in length and rating better than very fine. Nickel plated fittings on both crossguards, along with the pommel, the central crossguard marked with the SA Group Gau mark "Sa" (Sachsen = Saxony). Pear tree wooden handle with a smooth finish, very light contact, with the embedded finely-detailed aluminum eagle with limited surface wear and rating near extremely fine, while the SA insignia exhibits scattered silvering wear with intact enamels, the dagger measuring 346 mm overall. The scabbard is magnetic, exhibiting light contact and scattered chipping in the smooth black finish, both the chape and locket are held firmly in place via two screws each, with a ring attached to the locket, the ball finial, chape and locket with light contact and without dents, the scabbard measuring 252 mm in length.
