A Wehrmacht Army (Heer) General's Belt

A Canadian Veteran's "bringback" - This belt is fabricated from a very durable, high quality leather with a smooth-finished brown upper, the belt with a raw underside, gilt bronze dual-prong rectangular belt buckle with a pebbled upper on the left end, eight rows of two holes each for length adjustment on the right end, the belt itself supporting two brass D-rings with a shoulder strap attached, the one D-ring attached to a free-moving slider to the left of the buckle, the other D-ring attached to a strap looped in place around a horizontal strap stitched in place to the underside of the belt at the rear, the shoulder strap with an adjustable buckle with a pebbled upper, clips with pebbled uppers on either end of the strap attached to the D-rings, each of the clips supported by a leather patch, slider with a brass square O-ring on a strap and one additional slider to the left of the D-ring strap near the buckle, the belt measuring 53 mm x 1,320 mm, the shoulder strap measuring 23 mm x 1,130 mm. Crazing and wear evident in the leathers, gilt wear on the belt buckle. As worn. (C:44)
