A mint and unissued German Gestapo (Geheime Staatspolizei/Secret State Police identification tag; in nickel silver; the obverse with a national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika; the reverse inscribed “Geheime Staatspolizei” with a thin line cast to the bottom of the tag (note that it is completely unstamped and thus unissued); one drill hole for necklace suspension; measuring 51.05 mm x 37.30 mm; weighing 24.9 grams; mint and unissued.
