1847-1905 Issue. Type I. In Gold with red, white, navy blue and green enamels, weighing 18.2 grams inclusive of its ribbon, 40.2 mm x 57.5 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, original ribbon, intact enamels, near mint. In its hardshelled case of issue, maker mark on the inside lid has faded, recessed medal bed, wear evident in the fabric overlying the hinged area, exterior scuffed along the edges and bottom, case very fine.
