A grouping of postcards, one measuring 142x96mm, six measuring 139x89mm, all in extremely fine to near mint condition. The first four cards are dated between November 1915 and February 1916. They are Feldpost cards from an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army, sent from occupied Poland. The name is indecipherable. The recipient is Vera Nikolić-Hržić or Hržić-Nikolić in Zagreb, Croatia. The first card is written in German, the next three are in Croatian. The next two cards, dated to March 12, 1916, and possibly May 21, 1916, are sent from Tashkent, Russia (modern day Uzbekistan) by a POW, Lieutenant Brlić. The recipient is, once more, Vera Nikolić-Hržić in Zagreb. The cards are written in German. The final card is left blank.
