A 1921 “Der Stahlhelm”; two-piece construction; the obverse with a silvered helmet on a silvered and black enamelled base reading “1921” with two oak leaves directly above; the reverse engraved “20.9.1921” and “IV.MI.158”, marked “Ges. Gesch.” and “STH”; vertical slender banjo style pinback with a sheet metal hinge and a round wire catch; measuring 30.34 mm in diameter; weighing 12.3 grams; better than very fine condition.
