A 1930’s third reich period DJ (Deutsches Jungvolk/German Youths) membership badge; in silvered bronze with black and pebbled red enamels; the obverse with the DJ symbol within a bed of pebbled red enamels, surrounded by a stylized swastika and the letters “D” and “J”; the reverse plain; horizontal pinback; maker marked “RZM 72 (M1/72)” for “Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart” on the reverse; measuring 21.77 mm in diameter; better than very fine condition.
