A third Reich period German Feuerlöschwesen Verdienstkreuz; two piece construction, in silvered bronze and white, black, and red enamels; the obverse with a white enameled cross with a medallion in the centre depicting a mobile black enameled swastika and a band in between the arms inscribed “Für Verdienste im Feuerlöschwesen”; the reverse plain; with a pierced ball suspensions; with its period original full sized ribbon; measuring 43.09 mm x 43.15 mm; weighing 18.1 grams; very fine condition.
