A third reich period bronze grade SA “Sportabzeichen”; in bronzed metal (magnetic); the obverse with a full oak leaf wreath with a ribbon at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions, with a sword vertically superimposed onto a mobile swastika in the centre; the reverse plain; with a vertical pinback; maker marked “E. Schneider of Lüdenscheid” and “Eigentum der SA Sportabzeichen Hauptstelle: (Property of the SA Sports Badge Headquarters” on the reverse; measuring 57.94 mm x 45.38 mm; weighing 18.1 grams; very fine condition.
