A Luftwaffe Second Fallschirmjäger Signals Division 12 & Signals Division 41 Pennant

Two emerald green rayon fields sewn back-to-back, both sides illustrating a Luffwaffe Paratrooper Badge in the centre, the eagle and swastika in yellow embroidery, the wreath of of laurel leaves and oak leaves in gray embroidery, with yellow embroidered text above and below the badge, inscribed "2. Fallsch. Nachr. / Abt. 12" (2. Fallschirm Nachrichten Abteilung 12) above and "Ln. Abt. 41" (Luftnachrichten Abteilung 41) below, strips of ornately-patterned gold-coloured fine aluminum wire and yellow embroidery sewn in place on both sides along the top edge, the strips creating a hoist sleeve and housing a brass bar with ball finials at the ends of the bar, a multi-link bronze gilt chain attached at either end of the bar for placement upon a desk pennant pole, light yellow angled cord sewn in place along the other three edges, the bottom edge with an additional strip of gold-coloured bullion wire, with multiple strands of 23 mm long rolled bullion wire fringe, 202 mm x 312 mm, the swastikas at the feet of the eagle having been covered over with green threading and restored with yellow threading near the original location on both sides, extremely fine.
