Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of St. Sava, III Class Commander, by Huguenin Freres & Co, c.1930

Type III (1921-1941): Saint in green robes, with "1883" reverse. Multi-piece construction, silver gilt with blue, white and red enamels, gilt centrepiece rings, handpainted obverse centrepiece, unmarked, 52.3 mm x 85.3 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, on an original full-length neck ribbon, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "СВ.САВА III." on the lid, maker marked "HUGUENIN FRERES & Co LE LOCLE (Suisse)" on the inside lid, recessed medal bed, edge wear, light soiling and scuffing evident on the exterior, case fine.
