Two-piece construction, Gold star mounted to a silver pentagon-shaped base, Monetny Dvor mint marked and number engraved "31080" on the reverse, 26.5 mm x 27.5 mm, suspended from a 13 mm x 25.5 mm silver gilt and red enamelled hanger inscribed in Russian "МАТЬ-ГЕРОИНЯ" (Mother Heroine) with pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, extremely fine.
