Buckle on the right end, illustrating the 1st pattern Luftwaffe eagle with droop tail in fire gilt, mounted to a fire silvered brass plate oval belt buckle, the buckle with a pebbled background and framed by a wreath of oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 48.8 mm x 53.8 mm. Upper of the belt in fine aluminum wire, with two rows of aluminum wire and black embroidered rules flanking a thin central rule in red embroidery, the underside of the belt in grayish-blue wool, silvered metal receiving clip on the left end, the belt folding around to the reverse on the right end, with a hook on its tip, secured in place to one of nine metal length adjustment eyelets placed within the wool underside of the belt, with two sliders that have matching uppers and undersides to that of the belt, measuring 45 mm x 1,040 mm. Exhibiting scattered gilt wear on both the eagle and the buckle itself, the reverse of the slider on the left end missing part of its grayish-blue wool underside. Aiguillette cord is fabricated from rolled silvered aluminum wire and is divided into three sections: the first section has a cord braided into thirty-nine rows of loops, with a thin strand attached to the braided end, the second section has a shorter looped cord with a braided sliding adjustment knot, the third section has a long looped cord, designed for placement over the shoulder onto the back, returning under the arm and wrapping around the second section at its midpoint on the front of a tunic, with all three cords joined at five positions within a 19 mm x 36 mm silvered bullion wire patch that is slotted in the centre and designed for placement around a button on the shoulder, the aiguillette without interruption in the bullion wire. The belt and aiguillette in their circular cardboard container, exterior finished in a pebbled black paper, inside lined in a glossed ultramarine blue, 207 mm in diameter x 52 mm in height inclusive of its lid, the exterior of the lid and base exhibiting semblance of tape residue, along with peeling and scuffing on the pebbled black paper finish.
