(Ottoman Empire): Hardshelled case with a jade green cloth exterior, Turkish sultan's tughra within an open-ended wreath of laurel leaves and marked 1st Class in Eastern Arabic in gold-coloured ink on the lid, inside lid lined in off-white satin and padded, raised platform in plum-coloured velvet with a recessed area for the badge and a triple-slotted area for the breast badge, latch closure, 140 mm x 278 mm x 44 mm, wear evident in the satin fabric overlying the hinged area on the interior, the exterior free of interruptions in the cloth fabric, near extremely fine.
