A Mint Third Reich Period German 25-Year Faithful Service Cross in its Original Case of Issue

A textbook example of a mint Faithful Service Cross awarded for twenty-five years of service; in silvered bronze and black enamels; cross pattée with a wreath of oak leaves between the arms and a static black swastika (Hakenkreuz) in the centre; the reverse inscribed “Für Treue Dienste” (For Loyal Service) in the centre; on loop for suspension; with is mint period original ribbon with a sewn-on horizontal pinback; measuring 40.76 mm x 40.90 mm; weighing 20.8 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of cardstock with a lightly textured red faux leather (leatherette) exterior; measuring 101 mm x 47 mm; traces of wear from storage on the case, otherwise mint condition.
