An award certificate, measuring 209x170mm, near mint condition. The recipient is Franz Laszakovits, a Jäger (rifleman) and machine gunner in the 8th Machine Gun Reserve Jäger Battalion II/482.
The document is dated to November 17, 1943 and signed in pencil, the signature is indecipherable. It is trilingual, in Croatian, German, and Italian.
Laszakovits is awarded the Bronze Bravery Medal for his actions on February 11, 1943, when showing bravery and cool bloodedness, opening fire on a group of partisans threatening the artillery observer. Laszakovits remained in position under heavy fire until the observer was able to fall back and redeploy his instruments, being the last to retreat.
