A First War Prussian Pilot’s Badge by C. E. Juncker; Stamped Version

A Prussian Pilot’s (Flugzeugführer) badge; in stamped silvered brass; hollow; with fine details; standard pilot’s badge motive within a wreath consisting of oak and laurel leaves; a bow on the bottom with a Prussian crown on the top; unmarked but a textbook example of Juncker production, with its vertical needle style pinback, sheet metal hinge, and round wire catch; measuring 68.88 mm x 45.61 mm; with approximately 97% of the original silvering intact, but having lost much of its shine due to collecting patina from age; near extremely fine condition.
