Description: Silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "H.B.G." (unknown) and marked "800" (silver) on the pin, 42.5 mm, vertical pinback, dark patina, extremely fine.

Footnote: This uncommon maker only began supplying Iron Crosses in 1917, the "800" silver content only used to manufacture Iron Crosses during the period 1917-1918. (C:171)
