A Set of Waffen-SS Hauptscharführer Rank Collar Tabs

This is an extremely well preserved set of pre-1940 Waffen-SS Hauptscharführer Rank collar tabs, consisting of a left and right collar tab; the left collar tab displays two strips of fine silvered bullion wire tightly wrapped around white cord, with black embroidery in the valley between the strips, stitched in place near the bottom edge; on a black wool base, with two silvered zink rank pips, and silver braided cord on all four sides of the tab; standard buckram backer; measuring 56 mm x 42 mm; the right collar tab displays a set of hand-embroidered SS runes in silvered bullion wire tightly wrapped around a white fabric thread; on a black wool base, with a silver embroidered cord on all four sides of the tab; standard buckram backer; measuring 56 mm x 42 mm; overall near mint condition.
