A German ADAC (General German Automobile Club) Boat Pennant

A boat pennant “Schifffahrts Flagge” for a member of the ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil Club/General German Automobile Club). Constructed of white cotton with a multi-coloured print on the obverse, depicting a motif similar to the German naval flag, but with the insignia of the ADAC within the circle, as well as with a fouled anchor on the top left of the flag. All edges of the flag feature a dual-ply hem, with the hoist edge featuring a dual-ply cotton bunting with a small tunnel-looped suspension rope. Measuring 350 mm x 179 mm, in extremely fine condition.
