Canada: Pickled brass, unmarked, 35 mm x 42.8 mm, both lugs intact, light contact, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Algoma and Manitoulin areas of Ontario, with mobilization headquarters at Sault Ste. Marie under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed on August 9, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel T.P.T. Rowland with a strength of 32 officers and 935 other ranks. Upon arrival in England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 8th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
