An Iron Cross 2nd Class Award Document Signed by Commander Hans Zorn

A certificate, measuring 141x200mm, extremely fine condition with folding crease. It states that Schütze (Rifleman) Manfred Mucha is awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. The document is dated to west of Muschkowitschi in the Smolensk oblast on August 1, 1941. Mucha is part of the 20th Infantry Division. The certificate is signed in black ink by Major General and Division Commander Hans Zorn (1891–1943), a recipient of the Knight’s Cross and posthumous recipient of the Oak Leaves.
