Yugoslavia (Kingdom). Officer’s Insignia Cap Badge for Artillery (Model 1939), Metal Version for the "British" Cap, Introduced in 1939; Multi-piece construction, bronze gilt cypher of Peter II mounted to a silvered two-headed eagle, the eagles surmounted by a silvered crown and surrounded by a gilt open-ended wreath composed of laurel leaves on the left and oak leaves on the right, on a black wool base, aluminum support plate with both prongs intact, 53.8 mm x 61.2 mm, paper residue evident on the reverse from previous board mounting, traces of gilt remains on the cypher, light contact and surface wear, near extremely fine.

Footnote: This cap badge was frequently worn by the Serbian/Royalist Chetniks between 1941 and 1945.
