A 1904/1906 Southwest Africa Commemorative Medal

A 1904/1906 “Gedenkmedaille für Südwest Afrika); in gilded bronze; the obverse with a leftward facing bust of Germania with a winged helmet, circumscribed “Südwest Afrika” and “1904-06”; the reverse with the royal cipher of Emperor Wilhelm II, circumscribed “Den siegreichen Streitern” (the victorious combatants); on a loop for suspension; with its period original ribbon; measuring 32.60 mm in diameter; better than very fine condition.
