A textbook example of a second war German Militärverwaltung (Military Administration) for France badge; two piece construction in silvered bronze with red, white, and black enamels; numbered “311” on the reverse of the swastika; horizontal pinback; measuring 74.75 mm x 39.75 mm; with the majority of the silver-wash worn off, but with the enamels extremely well preserved; near extremely fine condition.
