Klasse ohne Schwerter” in its original case of issue; private purchase screwback version; in silvered zink; a maltese cross with pebbled arms and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with threaded female end and a pin attached to the lower arm of the cross for stable seating, and with its male threaded screw-back; marked “L58” for “Glaser & Söhne, Dresden” on the reverse of the screwback; measuring 48.00 mm x 47.77 mm; weighing 19.4 grams. Accompanied by its case of issue with cardboard sleeve; the case is constructed of heavy pressed paper, with a textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; unpadded lined interior lid with a fitted medal bed; slightly severed interior fabric hinge cover; intact exterior leatherette hinge; with a sticker on the bottom of the case (illegible); measuring 65 mm x 66 mm; with its cardboard sleeve; missing two of its sides; overall in mint condition.
