A second war German “Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen”; oval silvered feinzink; with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht-style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, a barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 53.26 mm x 42.12 mm; pleasant patina from age with approximately 90% of its original silver finish remaining, but with some light to moderate bubbling in the finish on the reverse; in overall better than very fine condition.
