A Condor Legion Silver Grade Wound Badge

A third reich period German Condor Legion“Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval stamped silvered tombac; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom (of note are the exceptional details on the leaves trademark to Legion Condor wound badges); the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 42.90 mm x 37.62 mm; weighing 11.8 grams; with the silver-wash nearly completely worn off due to age, but with fine detailing, in near very fine condition.
