This is a standard issue HJ belt buckle; a rare circa 1941 injection molded pewter manufactured version; the obverse with a standard HJ motif consisting of an eagle in the centre perched atop a HJ diamond that is surrounded by a serrated circular border with an inner and outer rope and the HJ motto “Blut und Ehre” (Blood and Honour); the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and integrated catch; maker marked “RZM M4/38” for “Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid” on the reverse; measuring 63 mm x 48 mm; with all of its original silver finish worn off, but otherwise in extremely fine condition.
