A mint example of a DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz/German Red Cross) Enlisted Man’s belt buckle; in cast aluminum with a gunpowder-grey finish; the obverse with a pebbled field featuring an eagle perched atop a Red Cross, with a mobile swastika on its chest, surrounded by an oval open-ended laurel wreath; the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and integrated catch; maker marked “OCL” for “Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid” and “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; measuring 47 mm x 64 mm; in mint condition.
