An Early German Silver Grade Wound Badge by the Official State Mint of Vienna

A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval shaped silvered bronze; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, and a functional hinge/catch assembly; measuring 43.81 mm x 36.41 mm; weighing 33.8 grams; better than very fine condition.
