Germany. A Second War German Luftwaffe Glider Pilot Badge by Steinhauer & Lück

Constructed of zink alloy; two-piece construction; the obverse consisting of an oak wreath with a mobile swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and an eagle that was separately soldered onto the wreath; vertical needle style pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 55.95 mm x 52.68 mm; unmarked however exhibiting the manufacturing characteristics of Steinhauer & Lück, weighing 21.4 grams; better than fine condition.
