An excellent example of a clasp to the Iron Cross 1939 Second Class; type I; in silvered tombac; all four prongs intact on the reverse; unmarked; measuring 30.59 mm x 30.79 mm; weighing 6.7 grams. Accompanied by its paper packet of issue; with “Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse 1939” printed in black gothic lettering on the obverse, and “Frank & Reif Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen” in the same style on the reverse; measuring 94 mm x 64 mm; extremely fine condition.
